• Food for Life Nepal

    On Mangsir 24,2075 Class Captains of Class VII,VIII,IX and X visited ISKCON at Budhanilkantha. The main objective of their visit was to observe the Food for Life Nepal  programme, for which the students of our school donate monthly from their pocket money. They first visited ISKCON canteen, where the food is prepared for the underprivileged students of some government schools in and around Budhanilkantha. Monthly our students donate Rs.14000-Rs.15000 to Food for Life Nepal (FFLN). The 30 captains were divided into 2 groups, A and B and sent to 2 schools: Shree Jana Uddhar School and Shree Naulin Secondary School. There they served meal to the under previleged  students and felt gratified that their small contribution is making a big difference in the life of  students like them.

     

  • On the occasion of International Human Rights Day on 10th December, The Celebration Co-Ed conducted an on the spot Nepali Essay Writing Competition for secondary students. Out of four topics: Yoga and Meditation, Religion and Spiritualism, Vegetarian life and Human Rights, the students had to pick a topic and write the essay within an hour. Bigyani Shiwakoti  of Class IX A3 represented our school  and won the first prize in the competition.

  • On the occasion of 24th Metropolitan City anniversary Dilli Bazar  Resource Centre Centre, Education Department conducted various competitions among the cluster schools.  AlinaNeupane, Class IX A1, won the first prize in the Secondary Level Essay Writing Competition (Nepali) on the title “Samridha Nepal Sukhi Nepali”. Along with certificate she also won a cash prize of Rs.5000. In the Basic Level Dance Competition our students won the third prize and cash prize of Rs.2000.

  • IIMUN is an India based organization that conducts stimulations of different committees of the UNO. It is held once a year in Nepal for students of Nepal. This year the program was held at Bauddha Meridian School for 3 days, in which 16 students from our school took part. Around a month ago, the participating students were assigned a UN member country and a committee along with agenda. Basically participants represented particular countries and discussions were held, where the speakers had to present the views of the country they represented. Through moderated and unmoderated caucus, they came up with 'working papers', which was read by the chair and passed by the committee and the working paper became a 'draft resolution'. After amendments and discussion finally when it was passed by all committee members, it became a 'resolution'. It is a microcosm of parliamentary/UN debates claims the organizers.

  • On the invitation of National Council, 125 students from our school presented a Cultural dance item in the Opening Ceremony of President Running Shield, 2075 held at Army Training Centre ground at Lagankhel on 23rd Jestha (6th June). On behalf of our school, Mr. Tribhuwan Poudyal, Sr. Dance teacher received a token of love from the Sports Minister, Mr. Jagat Bahadur Bishwakarma.

  • Prasiddhika Tiwari of Class VIIIA1 has given an incredible example of matchless ingenuity and talent in a Nationwide Art Competition organized by Nepal Children Association on 29th Bhadra 2074 with the slogan "Child-friendly governance, Children's reverence". Out of 100 of competitors, She secured the 4th position. The prize was awarded by Honorable Minister for Youth and Sports, Mr. Rajendra Kr. KC.

  • On 24th Bhadra at Creative School Nayabazar, Kirtipur our students Batsal Bhandari (XA1), Batsal Bhusal (IXA2) and Ashwin Aryal (IXA1) bagged a first prize in 3rd Creative Inter-school Quiz Competition 2074, defeating total 25 Schools of valley. They were awarded with shield, medal, certificate and Rs 7000 cash prize.
